winter city league is all about games, games, games in a structured coach environment

 

Our local league, 9 week program will teach and prepare your youth for the team concepts, skills and practice to be able to play team basketball at school, club and beyond! Oh and make some friends and have a whole load of fun! Program comes with a team tshirt, equal playing and top notch trophy!

leagues begin: JANUARY 15th 2024

 

 

Our City League program is a structured local league where youth receive the high level coaching and coach to player ratio that we feel is important. Our coaches will work with the same intention as our fall development program, with our 30 minute team practices followed by two fun and competitive games with equal playing time, updated scores, and schedules + championship days.

– 9 Week program – Jan 15th to March 17th
– 1.5 hour sessions
– 25/30 minutes of team training with a Coach, followed by coached games
– Two games a night! 32 minute games with…
– Equal playing time – 4 minute shifts, 10 max a team … equates to LOTS of playing time for your youth in a structured setting!
– League results online with updated table 

– Winners get the end of season trophy!

Jr Shooting Clinic – Grade 5-7 Tuesday – 6:15-7:30

Adult League – Campbell River – Wednesday 7:15-8:45

Dime Winter City League Basketball is coming to Powell River!!!

Powell River Dime Basketball at Brooks Secondary

We are now also coming back for a full set of Sundays from January 14- March 10 in POWELL RIVER. Our Winter City League, hosted out of Brooks Secondary School will give an opportunity for all youth Grades K-12 to learn from the Dime coaches, run skill development and play in tournament based games. This fun-filled program has been a favourite in CV and CR and now it’s your chance; see times below
