Ultimate Dime Championship

November 19th – 9-3pm @ Vanier 

Ready to compete all day to determine if you are one of CVs top hoopers. Our tournament day format will be 1 on 1 all the way up to 5 on 5 with lots of basketball., hanging out with friends and pizza lunch. Fun prizes and a water bottle for all!

$60 + tax & fees

30 spots  – NCAA (gr5-7) or NBA (gr8-10)

Larry Street Scholarship

Our new Larry Street scholarship pays homage to a man who has paved the way for basketball in the North Island and has shown mentorship and leadership on Dime’s Journey over our first few years.

Larry’s passion and tenacity for both basketball and education will be honoured as Dime looks to give back to the community and provide one or two youth(s) with the opportunity to have finance-free basketball for the year. The qualification for the scholarship is based on education, community service, and an overwhelming tenacity to challenges like Larry showed overcoming cancer once again in 2023.

The cover letter should state how you qualify for the scholarship under the 3 following topics:

1) Education and grades in school

2) Community service

3) Overcoming adversity or struggle

Scholarship winners will receive their 2023/24 Basketball finances taken care of – this includes school basketball fees and any Dime Valley programs they participate in.
